Here's to summer. here's to trying to coach lacrosse to lower school girls and middle school girls and realizing that really you can't but you sure can cheer for long amounts of time. Here's to feeling like sleeping everytime you get in goal and deciding that this whole blocking shots buisness isn't working. Here's to summer swimming where second place is all you can get then you get jumped on by little kids, climbed on by little kids, tickled by little kids then turn around and keep them from drowning themselves as you try and teach them how to swim. Here's to lifeguards that confuse you but also make you laugh so hard that your stomach hurts and you can't breathe which causes them to tell you "don't drown cause i don't want to get wet" which only makes you laugh harder. Here's to playing around on little kid playgrounds with people who you didn't know before but now hang out with or talk to almost everyday, or people who you haven't seen since middle school who've changed big time. here's to nights with friends that seem to last forever and days that are too short. here's to having friends visit from out of state and feeling so good that nothing could make you sad - for a whole week. here's to going and seeing Napoleon Dynamite, twice. here's to going to lacrosse camps that completly kick your butt and leave you bruised for at least a week afterwards. here's to trying to drive stick, one of the scariest experiences of my life. here's to VIP areas and having our own bodyguard. here's to meeting new people. here's to staying in an awfull house in florida where ants attack your clothes and you're too scared to sleep in one of the shady beds so you volunteer to take the couch. here's to late night(or i guess they could be considerd early morning) phone calls that make you feel so much better. here's to being able to drive yourself places or get rides from friends. here's to playing music too loudly and getting funny looks when you and your friends are singing along to odd songs. here's to lazerquest. here's to spending time with your brother before he leaves for college. here's to realizing how much you're actually going to miss your brother and his friends as weird and strange as they are(i mean who else will throw TRANCE AND DANCE?. here's to realizing all the fun stuff you're going miss when you go back to school in less than two weeks. And last but not least HERE'S TO LOVE.
