All they did was slowly collapse like a flan in a cupboard.

Ok well exciting week! I'm having my first ever Photography exhibiton! One of my friends has organised an Art Exhibition in the middle of Manchester to raise money for the Tsunami appeal and she asked me if i had any photo's i'd like to donate so i got my 10 fave's and got them enlarged to 8x10 and mounted and everything and the exhibition's opened today. It opened at 12 and i reeeally wanted to be there so i asked if i could miss my last lesson and mum picked my up from college and we got there for about 1 (So it'd only been open an hour) and two of my pictures had already been sold!!! Infact the first piece they sold was one of mine and it was bought by a guy who'd helped to set up on Thursday and liked my pic (of Lyme Park) so much he came back today at 12 and bought it before anyone else could which is soooo cool. So that one wasn't even there any more and one of the others had been bought but left as part of the exhibition (it's on till monday) so it had a lil red sold sticker on. The funny thing is that i was talking to one of my friends at college about the exhibition and i was saying that if even one of my pics was bought i'd go hyper and by the time i got there two had gone! It's a really weird feeling to think that someone would want to pay £15 for one of my Photo's. It was really odd seeing all my pictures there, i just wanted to collect them all up and take them home with me, it's also odd not getting to meet the people that are taking my pictures, they're going to complete strangers!

Picture 1 ~ Lyme Park.

Picture 2 ~ Swan.

Sooooo happy it's the holidays now though i'm sooooo tired, this holiday i plan to do nothing but sleep and watch DVD's which will mostly be Eddie Izzard. (And also try VERY hard not to spend too much more money on ebay)

Quote of the day: You say 'erbs', and we say 'herbs', because there's a fucking 'H' in it! ~ Eddie Izzard.
