Yayyy! Lol I was supposed to go rewatch 2x09 but this is even better
SPOILERS FOR ANY LURKERS:
This is one of Bran's dreams in GoT: ''He saw Sansa crying herself to sleep at night, and he saw Arya watching in silence and holding her secrets hard in her heart. There were shadows all around them. One shadow was as dark as ash, with the terrible face of a hound. Another was armored like the sun, golden and beautiful. Over them both loomed a giant in armor made of stone, but when he opened his visor, there was nothing inside but darkness and thick black blood.''Dark shadow: Sandor

Veryyy interesting! I do love the parallels between Jaime and Sansa, and I think that he definitely has something to do with the dream (the fact that Sandor and Arya have interacted quite a bit ties her in there as well, which makes sense). I don't know if I buy that Jaime and Sansa will end up together though. I think that, if anything, GRRM is throwing us another possible Azor Ahai since there are so many candidates that fit most or all of the criteria for the prophecy, and that Jaime pushing Cersei to the side for Sansa's sake is a curveball for us to follow while Tyrion or another candidate fulfills the wights/dragons part of the prophecy. BUT I DON'T KNOW maybe that's just me in denial because omg if Jaime kills Cersei I will never forgive him or GRRM xD
Or maybe the OTHER candidates are the ones that are supposed to distract us, while Jaime is being Azor like a boss.
OT but lol, Azor is a dog's name in Greece! :P
I really have no idea! It's a crazy world with so many possibilities! ANYTHING could happen. I can't wait for the next book!
But I agree with you, I don't want Jaime to be the valonqar, I don't want him to do anything else that is horrible anymore. Enough is enough. I'd prefer him to not do anything else that is important and be happy, than be Azor/a Targ etc. and be miserable. Same goes for Sansa. I want them to be happy and well.
But I'm sure that, especially for Jaime, that won;t be the case. This is not my Little Pony, damn it, as much as I'd love it to be! :P
Lol yeah I definitely do not think he will be happy. I want him to reunite with Cersei though and they can work out some issues ;_; but also I don't want a happy Lannister ending. I like angst, and I really like Lannister angst.
I used to love Jaime/Cersei but now I dislike the pairing - I ADORE JAIME (fave male character) and I am ok with Cersei separately, but I don't want them together. I'm fine with them working out their issues though, and Im sure they'll meet again.
I like angst in general, just not Jaime/Cersei angst :P:P:P:P
Sansa MUST be happy. She;s been through hell. Gendry, Sansa, Theon, Arya, Stannis and Jon (and Jaime of course) need to survive the series, or else I'll be sooo sad!
Lol they're pretty much the only pairing that I actively ship in GoT, maybe because I just really adore both of them, and I loooooove their parallels and childhood references and how, though they're so similar, they have completely different approaches to each other/their relationship. But Cersei is my favorite EVER, and Jaime is close behind, so I love their interactions, lol. And their angst.
I agree. But add Cersei of course, and also I would like Asha and Arianne to end up in charge of something or queen of something.
I used to ship them as well, until I got into Cersei's head.
Tbh, I think they are very different, not similar. I think that it's intended by GRRM to present them as SOOOO similar -the characters themseves say so all the time-, and let the readers see the differencies between them. IDK. Same goes for Robb/Jon, except in reverse. GRRM presented them as different, I think they are similar. Might be just my personal opinion, though. I mean the do have many similarities, but not nearly as many as they think they do. And yes, their approahes towards their relationship are hilarious and so very sad! I think their approaches are what made me stop shipping them. Jaime loves her as a person -but he doesn;t really know the kind of person she is-, and Cersei loves him as a reflection of herself. As the male version she wants to be.
I wanted to add Arianne too, and Margaery, but then it would start becoming a huge list and I don't want to be greedy :P
edit: I just remembered, I made a fanmix for them ages ago, here it is

They are very different, but they're set up as parallels which is interesting. I did a character trait swap for them actually, which was really fun because I got to pinpoint exactly where their differences lie, and what they would be like if their personalities/views were switched. I think their twisted and impossible relationship is fantastic though, despite (or maybe because of) the obvious flaws in both their thinking.
Lollll yeah normally I'm all in favor of character death, but in ASoIaF, I actually care~ about whether some people live or die. Maybe because it definitely has enough character death to fill my needs :3
Definitely downloading that fanmix, awesome! Goodnight ♥
I'm gonna read that after I write this comment, seems very interesting!
Lol yes, their relationship is so twisted. Tbh if I knew that Cersei loved him as much as he does, I'd still ship them, but Cersei is down the insanity path. Oh! This is another clue for the Targaryen-ess of Jaime and Cersei! I stopped taking Cersei that seriously once we got into her head. She is a great literary character, which means she is very interesting, but I don't like her or feel attached to her anymore. Which is sad. She could be great

Jaime and Sansa need to be praised 24/7, I feel like a promotion priestess or sth :P
Do you like the pairing as well? :)
Thank you again <3

But I think they do have potential to be, but SanSan -which I dislike- is very likely as well so IDK

Have you read the books?
PS. Sansan IS likely tho, I think it shows bc it has been important in the two GRRM episodes :/
