Today I was supposed to work on my CV and personal statement. I have come to realize that it's really hard to write a personal statement saying why you have chosen a certain specialty when you don't know what specialty you want to go into. My life is frustrating.
But at least I have today off. I have enjoyed that. Our new apt is finally set up, and I love it! I had forgotten how much I liked NO when I lived uptown. It's like a different world from the suburbs. The great thing is that if I decide to stay here for residency, we don't have to move again. :)
I think I shall go eat supper. Not like I haven't eaten a ton already today. I shall eat salad! And maybe some jambalaya.
Tomorrow I start consults. One more month of medicine. Hopefully meeting w/ Dr. Lopez will help me figure out what I want to do with the rest of my life.
If you can't tell, I'm stressing slightly over my lack of plans.
Off to attempt to forget for a little while longer...
