last night was perfect.
we played a legit show with amazing friends/fans/family.
the production manager hooked me up with contacts, told up we pulled more than our weight, both he and the booking manager approached me after the show to tell me how legit the music/crowd/vibe was - paid me what i made and then slipped me and extra something for good measure.
told me that as soon as i was back theyd be booking me with big names, big crowds, etc.
and that they respected how many kids came out on such short notice.
mentioned playing shows with bands that i fucking listen to man.
say anything, early novemeber, etc etc.
makes me wanna dance a lil.
THANK YOU EVERYONE THAT CAME OUT TONIGHT. I LOVE THE SUPPORT - AND APPRECIATE IT WITH ALL MY HEART
Ugh and it felt legit to play around here again. I felt really good about myself and proud of myself as well this evening.

also i did all of sound check in a british accent and it was fun as all hell. cause i was on stage alone speaking in a british accent to the sound man for like 5 minutes over check. it was amazing. and he played along with it which was grand i had a lovely time! thank god for life. its beautiful.
