Pipe Dreams

It's been a while since I've done anything Lewis related, so I drew some Lewis/Hathaway art to fix that up. And then of course, I couldn't help myself and had to draw some John/Sherlock too. *sigh* The Sherlock fandom is like a damn weed, it just gets into everything! But I can't really complain, because I love it. :)

These pics are really massive ( Read more... )

Awww...fantasy is always a bit heartbreaking, isn't it? <3

Yes, it's all a bit sad. I'm still on the fence when it comes to shipping Lewis/Hathaway, and I think that comes across a bit in the picture...and then Sherlock/John, well, I'll do just about anything to them. :)

As soon as I read your last words, I imagined Sherlock's eyes lighting up with approval as he thought up a new idea and John shaking his head and going, "NoooOOOooo." :-)

I just watched another strong Lewis-Hathaway relationship scene (end of "Wild Justice," where Hathaway says he'll leave the force if Lewis leaves) and I love the way respect and desire run rampant through the series, whether it's sexual or not.

Lol I can totally picture that...

Yes, I love that scene! I tend to see the relationship as fatherly, or maybe as onesided, but very close. They're both lonely characters, and I think it's natural to want them to find each other, whether as friends or more. Clearly the producers and writers like teasing the audience though. The bit in 'Expiation' when they go to interview the school's headmaster...even I can't help slashing that!

Odd for my barely-seen-one-episode self, but I like the Inspector Lewis one better. It's mostly because I'm not sure who the second smoker is supposed to be...

This seems a very interesting way of making an image, I'm not sure I've ever seen anything like this, but I am rather fond of cutouts and cameos and shadowboxes, so this fits in there.

Geh, it's supposed to be Sherlock but I got lazy and yeah, it doesn't really look much like him... I like the first one better too, and for the same reasons.

I'm glad you like the cut-out look, though it's definitely not original or unique! I actually saw something similar on deviantart a week or so ago, thought it looks neat and wanted to try it out myself. ;)

This is gorgeous!

Damn, I live in Grand Rapids. I will be in Lansing on Sunday. If I were a bit closer, I'd totally hook you up for coffee :)
