So, this is my attempt at a "missing scene" story, with a little extra. Ooh, I like how diverse the jurors are. I always despair of my own ability to make up different personalities and backgrounds. The curmudgeon made me laugh, and the marrieds hitting on each other shocks me, in a really amusing way.

I'm interested in Moriarty, of course. Is he entirely unaffected by his time with Mycroft, then? Or is he just not admitting it? How did he manage to suborn the intern?

Other than that, I'm not sure how this story can keep its tension. The ending's already known, of course, so I think most of the interest is going to come from the characters, and their dilemmas/problems/fights. It sounds like you have ideas for quite a few of them already, so that's good...
