Fanart: Across the Sky

Jul 07, 2012 16:15

So, I recently read mazarin221b's excellent crossover with Top Gun, Across the Sky(R), and I COULDN'T STOP the fanart. The story is a perfect balance of action, fluff and angst, such a joy to read. For those of you who haven't seen the movie (watch it!), Top Gun is the story of a cocky pilot who gets a chance to compete against the best at the Top Gun Naval Flying school. He's certain things will turn out in his favor, but, as in all good films, things don't turn out quite as expected--they turn out even better. mazarin221b manages to fit the cast of Sherlock into this new world perfectly, without sacrificing characterization or plot. It's fabulous. Seriously folks, go and read it.

And now, on to the art!
