Nikola Stardust

Tonight I watched some Tesla coils making music.

While they were cool, most of the time they just reminded me that I am frightened to the bone of electricity, particularly in the raw, writhing form I witnessed this evening. They and a giant fiery musical contraption were on display outside of a cafe on the eastside. As we left and drove by the place I remembered reading in one of my England books (I'm going to Brighton in the Spring) that a somewhat common tactic of theft in the UK is to steal a car, ram it into a storefront and then run away with the various sundry goods that you manage to grab. What a shock (heh) these thieves (Thebes, anyone?) would receive should they decide to rob that cafe tonight.

My mind is all over the place. Everything seems all over the place.

Tesla coils = Nikola Tesla = David Bowie = Ziggy Stardust = my parents' new puppy
