My Garden is doing awesome. I just realised that I haven't posted really since I started raising the seedlings. I can't believe how much some of these plants are thriving! Zucchini plants are freakin massive and the Tomatoes just keep growing taller and taller. Please be aware that the only thing I have ever grown successfully in the past are Cayenne Chillies and they were in pots.
I have some beautiful Apricot and Bright Orange Lily's out at the moment, as well as Nasturtium and Marigolds. Tomatoes are starting to flower as are Zucchini's which are these massive yellow flowers and Cucumber. I have not one of my Chili plants is just starting to form flower buds, last year my Capsicums and Chili plants suffered from blossom drop, I can't work out why and I really hope it doesn't happen again.
Carrots look to be doing well, Lindsey and I had a look at them yesterday and they look about half as big as they should be. If I pulled them now I'm sure they would make delicious baby Carrots. The Basil and Sage is also thriving and really needs to be picked and used. Spring Onions keep getting larger and I imagine they'll be ready to be pulled in about a month. The lettuce has kind of died in the arse because they're totally overshadowed by the massive Zucchini's!
As my first Garden I am in awe of how amazing the transformation has been. I raised everything in this garden from seed and have cared for each plant individually. Of course its all organic. No chemical fertilisers or pesticides. Just diligence and love. I can't wait to have a meal made from my own beautiful produce. I'm going to expand the garden next season. Get more and more growing!
