[RL with Reeve]
It had been a few weeks since Reeve had rescued 11-12 from nothingness and brought him to Reeve's world of Gaia and his home in Edge.
Mostly the time had been pleasant, even if 11-12 was concerned about Reeve having to work so often. He'd been shown around; seen some amazing things - to him, since he'd never seen such things as the ocean or beach up close and personal before - and he'd been able to generally put aside any negative thoughts or feelings. He was grateful for Reeve's care and his friendship, even if he wished there was a little more happening betweeen them than just hugging.
A few times he'd had bad dreams during the night. Bad memories surfacing; things he wished he could forget. He'd managed to calm himself enough not to disturb Reeve in the middle of the night before but this night he awoke, shivering and he couldn't shake a foreboding feeling. So he slipped out of bed and quietly moved across the hall, hesitating before knocking on Reeve's door.
