After telling the guards of a possible disturbance on the other side of the house, 11-12 is waiting anxiously in the doorway of Palais 2, his home in The Village. It's a huge mansion, the largest house in The Village because 11-12's father is virtually the ruler of the entire place. So it is a house befitting a president or other ruling class.
Shelly may briefly see some sights beyond the gates, such as the nearby street or more of The Village beyond it. He may also notice the weather is pleasant and sunny, despite The Village being surrounded past the house by a formidable-looking and barren desert.
Once inside, the interior is classy and stylishly elegant and obviously rich. But mostly in simple lines and not overdone. The furnishings and decor are predominantly in pale colours, as are 11-12's clothing.
But for now, 11-12 is awaiting the assassin's arrival at the front door.
