Ugh, I know how you feel. Or, at least, I'm just about to start knowing how you feel! I'll be leaving the house at 6:30 in order to get to work on time. I'll end up getting there early (8:10-ish instead of 8:30), but the next bus would make me too late, so I'm gonna see if I can find a little cafe near work to sit and have a cup of tea or something. I figure the only thing I can do is to try to make the commute time into a positive thing--the bus ride gives me time to read, think, etc.

So anyway, I sympathize, love! *HUG* And hey, at least you're not dealing with the traffic directly--I would die from stress if I had to drive into Philly OR London every morning!

Yeah, it's amazing how much more stress-free my life has been since I stopped driving into work. I had unbelievable anxiety and resulting road rage. Wasn't quite at the stage of popping a shotgun out my window, but I do think my language got a lot worse ;-)

And I DO love having the time and space to read while I'm travelling back and forth on the train, it's just that I feel so exhausted by the time I get home in the evening. I think commuting does that to you no matter how positive you can make it.

Your commute sounds worse, though, because of how early you have to be in the office. What a drag!

xx
