Baby Dylan!! :o)

Thursday at around 3 pm i started having contractions that were 5 mins apart..so i went into the hospital and they monitored me for a few hours and sent me home..with instructions to do a lot of walking. so friday i woke up around 5am..for reasons i have no clue..well i couldnt fall back to sleep so i got up, took a shower and made myself a big breakfast..i figured that it was going to be the last one for a while, cuz i was determined to get this labor going. so after i ate and got ready i went to walmart and walked around for an hour..then i decided to go bug my mom at the golf course and she sugested that i eat something spicey so i ordered chili cheese fries with salsa. and i got some hot sause and layered it on the fries and in the salsa..after i ate and talked to my mom for awhile i went back to my apartment and finished washing Dylan's clothes and took a nap. around 5 my mom came and picked me up and we went to the mall to walk around for about 2 hours.. then she dropped me off around 7pm and about 15 mins later i was having contractions that were 3 mins apart. so again i went into the hospital, they monitored me and the doc came in after awhile and said that they were going to keep me over nite..yay! so at that point i knew that my baby boy was going to be here very soon. the contractions were very strong all nite, i was in so much pain. when i got to the hospital i was dilated a lil over 2cm..around midnite i was at 3.5 cm so i was starting to dilate better...around 3am i was dilated to 5 so i could finally get something for the pain..didnt really help much tho.. and around 4 or 5 my water finally broke..so i was getting more and more excited..i tried to sleep but the contractions were unbareable..so i said that i wanted something more for the pain..well the nurse told me that she would be back in a lil while to check to see how dilated i was, i couldnt get the epidural or whatever it was until i was at least 5cm. well she didnt come back til like 730 and said that she was going to wait til the next nurse came in and have her check my cervix, since the next nurse was going to be with me all day. well she came in around 7:45 and checked and well i was 8cm! so i couldnt get a damn thing for the pain! i was so pissed cuz i was going to be pushing without any pain med. and not even 10 mins later i was checked again and was 10 cm! time to push. OMG! that hurt so damn bad. and the next four hours were hell! but finally around 11:42am Dylan was born! he is the most beautiful baby that i have ever seen. he has a full head of black hair! he was 6lbs 5oz and 18 inches long. and when they put him on my chest i started bawling. i fell inlove with him right away. its still hard to believe that he is mine. im a mom. wow thats weird to say. so far he has been great, he barely cries, he started nursing right away didnt have problems with that, and he has slept for many hours. he has barely been awake tho. the whole time my lil sisters were here, he was sleeping. and he woke up a lil bit when Scott came to see him but didnt stay awake long. but after that he pretty much slept thru the nite except for a couple of feedings and diaper changes. and now he is sleeping again. oh if ya cant tell i am still at the hospital, i had my mom bring my laptop in so i had something to do when he was sleeping. so here i am. but i really dont have much more to say so im out...later
