1. What did you do in 2008 that you'd never done before?
Took a daytrip to Philly sans Navigator. Go ahead, laugh it up.
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
You could say I pathetically worked toward them (it?), and will remain the same until (if?) it happens.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth, or die?
None that I'm aware of.
4. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
Oh yes.
5. What countries did you visit?
Does the United States count?
6. What would you like to have in 2009 that you lacked in 2008?
An STD and a cavity, just to say I've had at least one of each.
7. What date from 2008 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
Probably 12/7/08, because I got to meet Kevin Ogilvie and it was fucking cold outside.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Possessing enough self-discipline to (almost) finish Dusting Off Sunshine (runner-up: becoming a social drinker outside the parameters of Terror Hill).
9. What was your biggest failure?
Seeing as how I define myself by my failures, that's kind of a loaded question. But probably falling into a rut at my current job? I don't know.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Caught a popular bug twice in November.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
Though I haven't quite given it a thorough deflowering... my Final Draft software. My (generic) all-in-one record player. The limited-edition boxed set of Portishead's Third.
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
I was really secretly disgusted by most of this year's behavior.
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
Outside of our soon-to-be-gone Prez, the Rotten-Toothed Medusa at work.
14. Where did most of your money go?
Savings... and supporting my local independent music merchants.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
A Halloween party. Several concerts. Vacation time in NY. Repo!

At this point, I much prefer studying people in relationships than being in one myself.
