Round Twenty-Four: Posting Rules Reminder
It’s almost the day we’ve all been waiting for, the first day for fic postage this round! A couple of posting reminders for the Authors so things run smoothly for all of us.
These rules are not optional, so authors please review them before posting your fic.
Rules:
1. Your subject line should read: Theme (Team Angst) or Theme (Team Schmoop), as the case may be. (That’s it; no title or any other information, just your theme and team name.)
2. Use a header with at least the following information:
Title:
Author:
Pairing/Characters: (use full names rather than initials)
Rating/Category: (eg, NC17/Gen or R/Slash)
Spoilers: (if applicable)
Summary:
Notes/Warnings: (if applicable)
3. You must include a link to the rating polls post, or directly to the poll itself for your theme in your fic post. The rating polls will be posted to the comm momentarily.
4. If you post the fic here at numb3rswriteoff please place the fic itself behind a cut. If you post the fic in your own journal you must link to it here and include the following blurb in your journal:
This fic was written for the Angst vs Schmoop Challenge at. After you’ve read the fic, please rate it by voting in the poll located here. (Your vote will be anonymous.) Rate the fic on a scale of 1 - 10 (10 being the best) using the following criteria: how well the fic fit the prompt, how angsty [or schmoopy] the fic was, and how well you enjoyed the fic. When you’re done, please check out the other challenge fic at . Thank you!
4a. If you post the fic in your own journal, please include the prompt and the team you’re writing for in your header so that the folk reading your fic may properly rate it.
5. Your fic must focus on a rare pairing, and may be het or slash.
6. Your fic must be at least 500 words long. There is no maximum length.
7. No WIPs. Your fic must be complete.
8. Your fic must stand alone. It may be part of an ongoing ‘verse, or a sequel, but it must be able to stand on its own so the reader is not required to read/have read previous parts to properly rate it.
9. This is Numb3rs challenge, so crossovers should generally be saved for the Crossover round.
10. You must post your fic by midnight the day it is due.
