Well if you're read enormous amounts that generally means I'm in there somewhere. ;-)

I'm sure I probably have a bunch of D/C first time fic and here are links to all my D/C in my memories just in case.

As far as first time goes, these are the ones I can think off off the top of my head.

The Conflict and Resolutions Series
The Last Call Series
The Defensive Postures Series ( Defensive Postures and its prequel Starting Something in Stockton)

I suggest asking at penguin_fics as I bet Mags or Cyn could direct you to their Don/Charlie first time fic. Also ask irena_adler since she incorporated Don/Charlie into her ongoing Watson universe. I'm also thinking rubynye might have some, but I can't remember that well since she doesn't fic that often, but she does do Don/Charlie.

Hope you find what you're looking for!

Miss DeMarais, I think I've read EVERYTHING you've written unless you've posted it to an obscure website and I read Defensive Postures on a regular basis!
Thank you all for giving me pointers and for writing some fantastic fiction, but please don't stop - I'll run out of stories soon so if you're thinking about writing anything new......?????????

Well, thank you. That's very sweet of you to say. /blushes a little/

I'm almost always ficcing and I have a bunch of finished fic I just need to get beta/edit/polish done for before I can release them.

On the Don/Charlie front I have a big 20K+ word epic called Addiction almost done (I'm rewriting the ending), a new 14 or 15 part series called Devolution (I have the first three parts written and outlines for the rest of them) and I've signed up to write another 12 Eppescest episode related fic to go along with the 12 I did last year.

Many of us post to comms other than the big ones, so reading comms isn't the only place to find fic. Go to the source or even to the newsletter to find more. sororcula has started putting newsletter fic links into a delicious account so you might want to ask her about that ( ... )

To be honest, I have posted quite a few comments in the past but always anonymously! I've only just joined LJ as I'm a bit of a technophobe and can't work out how things work or what all the acronyms mean (Dumb huh!).
As I don't (can't) write fics I don't feel qualified to write constructive feedback, so I normally post if something has really moved me!
In future I will try to overcome my fears of the keyboard and let you know I'm reading!

Feedback doesn't have to be constructive at all. Look at most of the comments on fic. They'll say stuff like "loved this" or "nicely done" - nothing too in depth. FWIW anonymous comments are frustrating for authors because we're never sure if when we reply to thank someone for taking the time to comment if anyone will ever see our response ( ... )

Thanks for that!
I'll make sure I comment on everything I read from now on!

Well, you don't have to comment on *everything*, but I think you'll find the whole "give and ye shall receive" will come into play in unexpected ways the more you interact with people on LJ.

Anyway, welcome! Looking forward to seeing you around now!
