Mod Post: 2013 Instructions
2012 is drawing to a close, which means holiday parties, doomsday theories, and, of course, Numb3rs New Year!
This year's fest will have a slightly shortened schedule, because of our late start, but I hope it will still be fun for everyone. Here goes:
Sign Ups: Tuesday, November 27, 2012 - Wednesday, December 5, 2012
Assignments go out by: Monday, December 10, 2012
Fics are due by: Tuesday, January 15, 2013
Fics posted by: Friday, February 1, 2013
Reveal on: Friday, March 1, 2013
We have revised the rules slightly and they can also be found on our profile. Please read these before signing up.
How it works:
Everyone who signs up fills out the sign-up sheet. Based on your requests, you will be matched with someone else - to the best of the mods' abilities - and they will write the requested fic for you. In turn, you are assigned with another person's request and you write a fic for them. Everybody wins.
Minimum/Maximum Word Count:
The minimum length of the fic should be at least 500 words, so that everyone gets at least a ficlet. You wouldn't want a drabble when you could have written a 5000-word fic, would you? There is no maximum word count.
How to Submit a Fic:
You will send the fics to numb3rs.newyear@gmail.com by January 15th, after which we will look for pinch-hitters.
ALSO:
The challenge is slash/femmeslash. Threesomes and moresomes are allowed, including M/M/F and F/F/M pairings, so long as the slash/femmeslash relationship is the evident and predominant pairing.
