*eep* That was a serious mess of drugs Ian endured. The halucinations were terrifying and it was heartbreaking to see cool, calm Ian reduced to that frightened state. Of course, it was all made even worse by finding out who was responsible!

But Don found a way to reach Ian, both physically by following Daniel's and Lynch, and mentally by getting through to him in the hospital. Ian's last words made me smile. Looks like he'll be fine in the end, especially with that incentive to get him going...

Laura.

This fic, the way it went and turned out, was totally and completely unexpected! It totally took me offguard and was totally wonderful to read, really :)

Thanks so much!

And Laura did a pretty nice job with her comments so.... /laugh.

I think you did an excellent job and I'm so glad that you were my anon author because this story is something I would not have come up with asking for :) Thanks again :)

I can't believe I missed seeing this when it was posted!

I just love the way Don and Ian are together at the beginning of this fic - there really is the groundwork for something permanent between them now they've both managed to admit it to themselves. And then it all goes so horribly wrong, and they have such a long and difficult road back. *pets them*

The character of Lynch was horribly convincing, and I loved that all of the team were also involved, even with the main focus on Don and Ian.

I just hope the guys manage to find their way through the aftermath, although the ending is definitely optimistic in that regard.
