Admin: Icon Nominations
Hello, everyone!
Given the type and number of icon nominations we’ve received this year, we’ve reexamined the Icon sub-categories and have decided we need to expand some of the sub-categories and create sub-sub-categories for others. *g* This is what we’ve come up with:
CATEGORY - Single Character
Sub-categories: Don, Charlie, Regular Character (Alan, Megan, David, Colby, Larry, Amita etc), Recurring or Guest Character (Meeks, Coop, Edgerton etc).
**If we receive enough nominations for a particular regular or recurring character, such as Colby or Coop, they will be broken out and given their own sub-category.
CATEGORY - Pairing
Romantic pairings (or threesomes).
**If we receive enough nominations, this will be broken down into Het, Slash and Threesome sub-categories.
CATEGORY - Family
Two or more members of the Eppes family.
CATEGORY - FBI/CalSci (formerly Team)
Two or more members from either team, or both; not a pairing.
**If we receive enough nominations, this will be broken down into FBI, CalSci, FBI/CalSci mixed sub-categories
CATEGORY - Text/Art/Graphics
Text only, artistic photography without the character image, that sort of thing.
Please note that the rule that an artist may only be nominated twice per category applies to each sub-category as well, so Artist Z may be nom’d twice in each sub-category that is created. So if you’re wondering what this means to you, it means you can nominate more icons!
To make things easier for the committee member who must place your icons in the correct category, please include the main category (character, pairing, family, fbi/calsci, or text/art/grahics) when nominating. Thank you!
