A/N: Hi!

Don rarely brought himself to ask for help. At least, not for himself. However, when it came to his family, he could swallow his pride. And it made sense to ask his brother for help on this problem.

Charlie surveyed the table in Don's kitchen. It was covered with textbooks, notebooks (of the paper and computer kind), pencils, pens, the usual litter of a teenager doing homework.

His nephew was seated at the table, bobbing his head in time to the music from his iPod.

Charlie debated his strategy. All he had to do was remember what it had been like to learn algebra. Unfortunately, he'd been five at the time and the memory wouldn't come. Too late to chicken out, though.

"Hey, Robbie," he said.

Robbie looked up and raised an eyebrow. "Hi, Uncle Charlie, what's up?"

"Um," Charlie said.

"Let me guess," Robert Eppes said. "Dad's worried about how I'm doing in algebra."

Charlie grinned. "Well, they wouldn't send me to help you with your spelling, that's for sure." He studied the stack of books.

Responding to the unasked question, Robbie pulled his backpack from under the chair and pulled his algebra text book out.

Charlie picked it up. "It's really not that bad, you know."

Robbie smirked slightly. "Of course you'd say that."

Charlie hesitated.

Robbie pulled a notebook out from out of the stack. "Here," he said. "How bad is that?"

Charlie leafed through the notebook. "Oh, my."

"I don't know how to tell Dad," Robbie sighed.

Charlie shrugged. "I find being blunt usually works."

"Tell me what?" Don asked.

Charlie waved the notebook at him. "Robbie went through the entire algebra textbook and got every problem right."

Don's eyes went wide.

"That's right, bro," Charlie smirked. "You've got a second math genius on your hands."
