HI THERE. It's been a while, huh?
This is a bit belated, but you know, better late than never.
Friday I cosplayed Chane from Baccano!, and... I don't think I have any pictures. e__e;;;;;;;;; (I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I'll try to take some!!) No one really recognized me and I forgot to bring my gloves so I was kinda like MEH and basically just chilled the whole day. I don't really remember much of Friday tbh. I went to a VA panel with Stacey, but I didn't know any of the actors so I was a little lost. Still, I always like VA panels, them people are fun. :D
Saturday I wore my steampunk costume. I have mixed feelings about it! On the one hand, I do like how it turned out. I think the design is lacking a little, but... for a first time... well, I dunno. But honestly, I was mostly disappointed in how I couldn't pull off my own character. XD It's not such a big deal, since I was really the only one who knew what a terrible Mary-Day I was, but... next time I will create a character that is a bit more like myself. I am just not tall and elegant and intimidating like Mary-Day!

Stacey was Faris from FFV *3* her first cosplay at her first con! Gosh she's brave. XD She looked really good too, shame I fail so hard and only got this blurry picture. TAT

Kyle was, like, OBSESSED with his camera on Saturday. LAVI IS SUDDENLY A CAMWHOOOOORE
It was hot so we went in a random panel and sat down for a while, because those rooms were so much cooler than the vending hall/outside/everywhere else. XD

Laur let me use her hotel room to change into Paprika before the masquerade, because damn that skirt is HUGE and very difficult to fit into one chair. XD I was also sweltering, so wearing a shirt and jeans felt AMAZING.

Ramona and mega Scott!! Ahhhhh I love this movie sfm and I'M NOT ALONE.
Oh almost forgot, I met a Scott cosplayer while dressed as Paprika, and he knew who I was, which made him like five times as awesome! We had a nice little connection lamenting about Satoshi Kon... I was actually very pleasantly surprised about how many people recognized Paprika. Seriously. I definitely want to wear her again, it was a really neat experience. It's fun to see a character you like, but even better when it's one you never expected to see, as seems to be the case with Paprika!

Sunday, Sunday, Sunday! The most tedious costume -- Astrid from HTTYD! With the_laurasaur as Hiccup and ahhhhh guys it was so much fun. <3 We were stopped for so many pictures! I'm glad we didn't wear it on Saturday, I would have surely lost a spike or two and I don't know how we would have gotten anywhere. XD As it was, I did lose one of the small shoulder spikes, but I have a dozen extras, so no worries.

We did visit the photobooth, and for once I actually like how the pictures came out, so I shall post 'em!

Later on, Kiwi and Kroos were asked by the photobooth dude for a few last pictures, and I followed to watch and was pulled in... XD I'm pretty sure he just wanted pictures of the cute girls in dresses, but he ended up with a VIKING PIMP CHICK.

And thus ends another con weekend! It was fun! Kroos and Kiwi made moneys in the artist's alley and Kyle made fangirls everywhere he turned! I got to hang out with people I don't get to see often, and I went to Yaya Han's panel and got Starbucks and fangasmed and just generally felt at home. Can't wait until the next one. :)
