Goodbye Chinny - Hello Hobbiton
Well, the lovely
carysgirlfriday has complained that I haven't been writing enough in my LJ. :( I promised I would rectify that by today, but unfortunately, tonight, I've left it too late for anything more than the briefest of updates.
This morning (early!) I took Baby Chinny to meet the Pet Bus and sent her on her way to Wellington. She won't arrive there till Thursday morning, because of the route the courier takes, and all the stops in between. That's an awfully long way for a little girl, and I really hope she doesn't get too stressed. I'll be worrying till I hear from the buyer that she's arrived safe and sound.
On Friday, I'll take her parents, Chewie and Josie, in to the pet shop and see if they can sell them on my behalf.
Tomorrow I have another early start - I'm driving over to Tauranga to meet
k_the_elf (Kay, or K from LEAF)! She's come all the way to NZ from the UK with a group from her university. Will get more goss on the whys and wherefores tomorrow. She has a free day and I'm taking her to Hobbiton! It's very exciting! I will definitely post details and pictures later in the week. (Sadly, I have to work tomorrow night, so won't have time to do it then - it's going to be a very full day!) I was planning on meeting up with her when I'm in the UK, which I can still do, but she happened to be coming to NZ first!
Now, I'm sorry, but I really have to go to bed!
