Day Two of Unemployment
Today was a busy day for me.
Lots of work in the morning set me back for the afternoon.
Dropped off some shirts to be laundered and pressed. Bought three new shirts for the new gig, no pants or socks given the shirts zapped all my cognitive decision abilities. I don't hate these dress shirts as much as I used to given I'm now getting ones that properly fit.
Bought a wireless headset for the xbox (black one.. not the reach one).
Bought Vanquish (for the xbox)... gun fighting robots/exo-suits ALWAYS wins my approval.
Created an account for the TB team on my server.
Did some 'consulting.'
Fought with the colo company for local/physical access (I just want to do an OS update waaaaah!).
Cleaned the floors upstairs (part 1 of 3). Did the laundry (and folded), made dinner, made tomorrow's dinner (since I have class and D has curling and don't have time to make it tomorrow). Prep'd lunch pizzas for lunches. Organized some of my crap in the basement.
Played some Vanquish, Borderlands, Puzzle Quest HD, and Tilt or Die HD as well as watched some 'queued' TV.
Turned down a last minute speaking engagement (too soon to build a presentation on business analytics with just two days of my staycation).
Tomorrow will be some more cleaning (this time the basement), maybe some shopping (need pants and socks and bus tickets) though I hope to not be as busy as today.
