It has been a great weekend so far.
Got a lot done and had some good food and equally good times.
When I went to pay for dinner last night I noticed a little sign stating Affinity now has a web page!
Does anyone working downtown want to try their lunch buffet (Hydro's shuttle goes downtown for folks like D...!)?
Currently re-encoding D's Shred DVD. The first few tries has the Xbox choking on output, I'm thinking it has to do with the 'De-combing' option but now encoding h264 mp4's and the first one looks good. Encoding the rest in those settings just in case the next batch doesn't turn out (trying a run using anamorphic no cropping to see if the screen fill would be better).
Haven't sat at the computer much this weekend and I've only got a little bit before we are off to another activity (working on the D family home). I figure I'll be in the way most of the time but we'll see, maybe I'll be useful.
Edwin @ work has me hooked on a site called dealextreme.com.... so many cheap gadgets... I'm going to get at least one or two things to play with (bluetooth AD2P receiver, laser sight infrared thermometer, USB microscope, bluetooth GPS data logger, etc). I think this site will be the death of my allowance. :)
