I never got around to documenting the drama surrounding the funeral and the frustrating family crap. Sorry. I bitched about it to my mom and some friends so I am over it now. I will say though being around an undisciplined, bratty and obnoxious 8 year old for over a week straight was enough for my tubes to cauterize themselves. That boy has single-handedly destroyed my ovaries.
G and I haven't had a weekend to ourselves in weeks and this one was no different. We did manage to have fun though. we spent most of Friday evening training Lilah. She has turned into a holyhell of a dog. It has been particular difficult for me. I have never had a dog that didn't listen to me, and, honestly, didn't worship me. Lilah thinks she is in control and that she is the alpha dog. I have the daunting task of teaching her No, honey - That is me! It is going well fortunately. She will have it figured out soon and my marriage will be saved.
Saturday afternoon we test drove a MINI Cooper S. That was nice. G's lease is up soon and we need to find a replacement. We are definitely leaning towards the MINI. It is in the price range, has got hp, is small and sporty, and has good craftsmanship. I actually looked at a MINI before I got my Beetle. So, I would love to have one in our driveway.
The rest of the weekend was filled with family mayhem. Next weekend doesn't look too good either being father's day and all...
