It's 4:58am and I am still wide awake. Hmm it's perhaps because I am snugglin in gfinish's bed but he is over there in Arizona. Or is it because this is my first night of another so called new 'home'? I am no longer livin in the roaches infested apt in hyattsville. The lease had to be broken. Despite the fact of havin the lightest semester ever, I hope this place will help me with my study skill. No more raw war with roaches made me sigh with a huge relief. Mom n dad are comin this weekend with their pick up truck n trailer to get all of my stuff back to home. Clothes n textbooks are the only things I brought to gfinish's home. This place is home enuff to make me feel at home
Just now, am thinkin abt joinin those early birds. I may as well catch some worms at 711. Some coffee, yes?
Oh yeah. Was gone for 10 days. To where? ARIZONA! Get this, gfinish didn't know I was comin. Been a month since he left the east coast, the distance has been hard on me. Keepin the secret from him was hard too especially when he was desperate to see me again not til thanksgiving. Plannin on surprising gfinish was so easy when halloween is my favorite holiday. With joi n scott's help, got into the traditional ghost costume with purple/black stripes stocking. Ofc I even had a pumpkin pouch in my hand! Was damn nervous about the whole thing but I eventually knocked onto his apt door. As soon as gfinish answered the door, I signed, 'trick or treat'. Gfinish was like, 'u are too early!' and 'who are you?' He was gonna slam the door onto my face as he thought it was some kind of prank. I gave out with a giggle which gfinish recognized but he actually believed that I was still in the east coast. I finally revealed myself and boy, the image of gfinish being surprised was exactly the same way I imagined! He was so shocked that his jaws were dropped onto the floor for a long while! Joi had some tears in her eyes. I heart! Darn, no pix. We joked about doing a reenactment shootin n post them online. Perhaps we can do that when I go to Arizona again for thanksgiving
The whole 10 days in arizona were supernice. The weather. The environment. Just champ! With the fact that gfinish works 30 hours a week and has 3 night classes to attend, I got to see a lil of why joi has been tryin to convince all of us to move to arizona. ASU is a big wow. Don't u ever wish gally was located on some cool streets? Stopped by a trading post n bought me a silver n turquoise bracelet. One of a kind, indeed. It's so hard to explain the bracelet on this but will do take a pic of it when I have a chance. It was not too hard to get lost in Tempe/Phoenix. The roads are all in plaid.
Sigh. Well now that I am back to the gloomy n cold east coast, I have a few more classes to attend. (Yeah I mean 2 n 3 more classes) I shall survive. Hopefully! Hmm yeahh I will! 4 more months before I go off to the AT keep me rollin
