So I've been doing this music thing for about 5 years now in a professional sense as cryogen second, we're starting to get a decent amount of recognition, people actually care about what we're doing now, etc.etc.etc.. Which is all great and dandy, I don't get why people give a fuck but they do, and it's because of a lot of fucked up work going "HEY LISTEN TO MY STUFF TELL ME WHAT YOU HATE ABOUT IT".
However, After a while of talking to a lot of big bands in the scene, opening up for some of them, and getting drunk with my share of "Alist" industrial celebrities, I've realized one thing: I am a total fucking fangirl. When I went to louisville and got to see aesthetic perfection, I was the squeaky kid going "LISTEN TO MY DEMO TEEHEE" to daniel graves. For those who dont' know AP, I suggest you listen: Myspace.com/closetohuman . Great music and filled mit dasubertanztyahh.
For those who know me, I was a giant combichrist fangirl for a long time. I have sought out one man in my entire sentient life to sign something and it was Andy Leplagua. HUGE fan. I don't even like his stylistic direction recently (Though all pain is gone is a great song, most of today, we are all demons didn't work for me), but when I went to see him live, I went fucking nuts. And of course, after the show, made an embarrassing ass of "REMEMBER ME? HEHEHEHEHEHEHEHE"
does anyone else in the scene (marshall?) do this shit? I always feel like such a dumbass because my heroes are these regular people and I know it, but I relate to the world in music, so it hits me a bit harder.
In september, we'll be opening for Psyclon Nine/Imperative Reaction. Look forward to stories of me offering handjobs to ted phelps in exchange for mastering/production tips.
