Frantic, frantic days here at Null Device Media Industries.
The CD is at the manufacturer, and should ship to the label on thursday. Which means with luck I should have them in my hands in time for Reverence. God I HOPE I have them in my hands in time for Reverence.
I'm desperately tweaking live tracks and such so all the tempo-effects and arpeggiators sync up and don't drift - wouldn't you know, the tracks that rely most heavily on that are the ones with "soft starts" - quiet fadeins and such so finding that first zero-point after preroll on the audio tracks is a complete bitch-and-a-half.
I'm also desperately re-engineering live tracks, or at least trying to figure out how, but that's another matter entirely.
And band tshirts are remarkably difficult. I have a lovely design. A lovely deisgn that nobody could print - too many halftonesa. Fair enough, I simplified it down to a spot color design, and I think it looks even better now. And yet my primary source for Tshirts turned it down, fearing their press wasn't good enough. So I've had to go elsewhere. Which is fine, but caused a bit of panic.
Last week, Mr. Fanale wrangled me and Jai (from Sensuous Enemy, as if there was any other Jai) into doing an interview regarding Reverence. It was funny - we were at the Dane, so beer was involved, and this poor interviewer was probably a bit overwhelmed by the sheer, um, "us-ness" of the whole deal. He couldn't've been more than 23. It was kinda funny.
In other news, I'm building a "spookaphone." Partially just for the hell of it.
