So I know I havn't posted in a long time, whatever.
I am taking the qualifying test for the Austin Fire Department and so far, I'm kicking ass.
Written Test: 98.59% achieved in 1 hour and 15 minutes out of a 3 hour, 15 minute test. In the words of the AFD officer grading the test (the chief I think) "That's the best I have ever seen anyone do in that amount of time." So yeah, that rocks. (As a side note, I was the fifth person to finish the test and pass, and probably the 15th person to finish overall)
The Behavioral Assessment test was today, a series of eight video scenes, each followed a by a 45 second response time. I don't know what my actual score was, but it was a breeze to answer, so I'm pretty sure I did well.
So I am really stoked (Wow, I havn't used that word in a sentence in so long) about this whole thing, and hopefully I will do well on the interview portion on the 31st and the physical test on the 18th.
I'm out.
