ah today was refreshing to say the least.
although i still have two electro-stim treatments a day.
for those of you who don't know i strained my trapezius muscle. basically my lower back is all shot to hell. they hook me up so electic nerve impulses can travel to my brain faster than pain. this block pain receptors. feel good time. espcially cause it was warm compress day. owwww.
i did start the second half!
waking up is a bitch though. i sit up to realize my meds have wore off. freshman year and i'm already the athlete addicted to pills. injections are next?? (extremely joking, i have random urine tests, roger that)
i was engaged at MILPIS today. 234 more hours of Navy class till my commission! or 54 hours till CORTRAMID this summer! i can't believe i get paid for this stuff.
the ro guys are great too. and we'll all be working together in the USN after graduation. once we get our ids he's gonna try to get me a tour of some aviation base and take some military hops to florida or around. and we're planning on a weekend hike upstate. just snatch sleeping bag, tent, and rough it. cute, smart, and athletic gentlemen. what a way to spend my time.
first trip to NYC was Sept.11th. kevin's friend is in iraq. we reached our 1000th American death last wednesday. i'm pretty damn pissed off.
"We live in a world in which strength on the part of peace-loving nations is still the greatest deterrent to aggression. World stability can be destroyed when nations with great responsibilites neglect to maintain the means of discharging those responsibilities." - President Harry S. Truman
