I just thought I'd let you all know that I've made the best (and cheapest) purchase of my life. I bought two old and sturdy, fully functioning sewing machines from a lady trying to get rid of them but not wanting to throw them away for $10.00. I found the ad for them on Kijiji Moncton ( http://moncton.kijiji.ca/ ) and seriously thought there was a typo in the price field. They weren't even $10.00 each, they were two for $10.00! I figured when I picked them up that even if they didn't work it'd only be a wasted ten bucks. But I got them home, set them up, and they both work perfectly! The older one of the two could use a bit of oiling, but other than that they're both in awesome shape!

You guys totally know what this means right? This means that I'll be able to cosplay again! This is spectacular and wonderful and nobody can wipe the happy grin off my face today! =D Sewing parties at my place anyone? ♥
