Bremerton is broken.
And it's all Port Orchard's fault.
Actually, Gorst is the problem.
Turns out, the road to Port Orchard flooded.
So no cars can go from Bremerton can get to Port Orchard.
Which, I guess the big problem is, that no cars can drive from here to Tacoma, or to Seattle.
So everyone needs to take the ferry.
Which means that within about 30 minutes of the road being closed, all of Bremerton was gridlocked by cars waiting to use the ferry.
Since the bus system transfer station is at the ferry terminal, this means all the bus lines have shut down, as nobody can get anywhere.
And as soon as the roads become completely blocked, as most of them already are, then no cars will be able to get off the ferry from Seattle, since our own little big dig on Burwell is a disaster.
Which means the ferries are about to shut down. Which means traffic in Seattle is probably building up already, since that is their only way to get to Bremerton, as driving around is out of the question.
So basically, Port Orchard just hosed the entire Olympic Peninsula.
Way to go, Port Orchard.
Though, from an anarchy point of view, I love this.
It's funny when they haven't moved for an hour, and decide that honking will help.
It's just like Boston!
I'd go for a walk, and laugh at them, if it weren't such bad weather.
And the news says it's just gonna get worse.
I often hear how any civilised society is three missed meals away from anarchy. Looks like we're about to find out.
