I've seen nearly everybody I wanted to see from home. Last night, I saw Spanglish with Eddie in Westbrook and it was a pretty good movie. The 2nd was Chris's birthday party and his mom made us this wonderful dinner of meats, cheeses, roasted peppers, and olives for appetizers, spaghetti and meatballs for the entree, and chocolate O cake and ice cream for dessert. Marvellous.
Charles and I went to Smugglers Notch, VT, with Hilary and Josh. Hilary isn't as crazy as before, but she honestly can't go twenty minutes without smoking a ciggarette and/or eating. Plus, Hilary and JOsh fight like an old couple. Hilary: "Josh, can I have a hug?" Josh: "Hilary, I'm busy watching TV." They argued all the time, it was hilarious. We skiied for a day, and I thought I was going to die a few times. Charles and I came home 3 days early because his mom had gone into the Emergency Room and wasn't doing so well. We took a 8 hours bus ride into Hartford and saw his mom.
The only bad thing this break is that our driveway got ruined. One of our friend's plowed it, but went about 2 inches below the ground level and we have no more rocks in our driveway, it's a big mudhole, and the stone walkway in the back has to be reset.
