Past, Present, and Future

Hiya Everyone. It has now been eleven years. August 23rd, 1992... probably the worst day of my life. The day that my grandma died. I loved her and still do love her more than life itself. I think about her and miss her everyday. But life and death go hand and hand and that is never going to change. You just need to make the most of it with the time we have here. And I for one believe that I'll see her once again after I leave this world.

In other news... I'm starting to really enjoy it here. My work is really great. I don't know the most about hardware and I'm not going to lie about it. But I'm still selling a shit load of it. Plus I sell a pretty good percentage of the replacement and repair agreements. I can't get cocky though, because I'm still 1200 miles from home, and no one likes a cocky asshole. And I get the most hours out of anyone in my department. Mostly because everyone is starting school. (I wish I was starting school.) But I'm trying to wait until I become a resident, so fees are cheaper. In fact, I'm going up to LSU today to talk to admissions. I hope I don't get lost. I have a tendency to do that when I go to new places.

My social life has been going pretty well too. I hang out mostly with people I work with. Most of them are really cool people and I have fun with them. Been to the bar a couple times and the club a couple times in Lafeyette, or however you spell it. The last time I don't want to talk about though hehe. Let's say I drank a little too much, to say the least. We may be going to New Orleans this saturday. It would be the first time I've ever been there.

So, all in all, I'm starting to like it here. I still miss everyone up north though and that won't change. When I talk to people on the phone it really makes me home sick. But I'm down here for a reason. And that reason isn't to drink and party all the time, beyond people's belief. I got my cell phone activated on friday, so if I call you out of the blue just embrace it! Anyway, that is all for now. Time to go visit LSU. Thank you all for reading and God Bless. =)
