Desucon is over and my neck is killing me, my feet are sore and my eyes want to jump out of my skull and take the day of.... but it was totally worth it.
I took a plane from london back to oslo friday evening so that I could go to Desucon on saturday and sunday. Desucon is Norway's first/biggest Anime/Manga/Sci-fi/Fantasy osv convention. My boy-friend and most of my norwegian friends are in the crew.
I got back home around 12 and was super tired from the traveling. Next day we had to get up at 6 since we had to be there at 7:30. Sooo much to do. Things to organice, stuff to put up etc. Nice to meet all the people again though. I
Earlier this summer I spend ages making a Prince Schnitzel costume from Code Geass for myself and an Emperor Charles for a friend. I knew my outfit would work since I didn't have to worry about a wig and the shoes were very simple. But he other costume needed a huge white judge wig and a neat white beard. I had to make the beard out of white fake fur.... and I was a biiiiit unsure if it was going to work or not. The guy had to get/make the wig himself, and he has never done anything like that before.... so I was a bit nervous about it. But it worked beautifully.
There was a photograpy stand there were we got out pictures taken and I will put them up when I get them. I sort of know the photograper and we ended up talking a bit and she said that when I/she has time/I'm done with school she want to take pictures of my other costumes. Yey.
The second day went a bit more smoothly than the first. We had seven guys sleeping over at our place. They were all securitly crew that lived far away so we had offered them a place to stay. So there was several tired faces in the back seat of mine and my dad's car that day. I managed to see the Cosplay competition final, which was awesome. There was a girl in Medic who came in her Code Geass Princess Euphemia costume. I have never had a cosplay group before ( have had one matching but never two) It was the coolest thing ever, waling around with Eupuemia on my arm and Charles looming menacingly in the background. We got asked so many times what was going on when we went outside, and loads of pictures taken.
Omgs... one hour until I have to leave for the ariport. I need to go pack someting.
