The other night i was in Sainsbury's and there was A security guard stood at the front of the door. He looked just like my dad.
That is when I started thinking.
This person is in the process of working a 12 hour shift (it's standard for security guards to work 12 hours) standing most of the time in that place being bored out of his mind with nobody to talk to other than the other shop assistants who would more than likely be too busy to talk anyways, and after 50 years of his life (well, he looked around 50) this was all he had to show for it. Working 12 hour shifts on a low wage being lonely.
I didn't know if that was the actual situation but in either case, it made me upset.
I just can't stand to see old/middle aged people being in hard off situations, especially if they look like your own father.
That is all I have to say right now.
p.s. tanya is coming in just under a months time. asdbasidbsadbasdas!!!!!!! oh i do look forward to hanging out with her.
