MCA Lobby [Wednesday Morning]

It was a regular morning. Rusty had a cup of coffee and a bagel. One of the news talk shows was on in the background and he was going through paperwork.

And then it stopped being a regular morning.

[Locked to me; Rusty is leaving the island today. I just can't keep a handle on his voice. He'll still own the building until a new IC manager/owner

The door opened and the man stood silently at the counter until Rusty looked up.

"Robert."

Aw crap.

Rusty sighed. "Mr. Benedict. I'm afraid I don't have any apartments available."

[nugents_shirt]

"That's excellent news," Terry said. "Means you have a good source of income and can repay me."

[nugents_shirt]

"Repay you?" Rusty asked, playing innocent.

[nugents_shirt]

"You and your friends owe me $160 million dollars," Terry said calmly. "Plus $38 million in interest."

[nugents_shirt]

"Insurance didn't cover your losses?" Rusty asked.

[nugents_shirt]

"That's not the point," Terry said. "The point is that you and your pals took something that belonged to me and I want it back."

[nugents_shirt]

"Right," Rusty said. "And you expect me to arrange this?"

[nugents_shirt]

"No, I've spoken with the others," Terry said. "You were the most difficult to find. You have two weeks."

With that, he turned and left the building.

Rusty watched him go and shook his head.

Time to make some phone calls. And pack. It wasn't safe to stay here anymore.

Within an hour, he and all of his belongings were gone. He left notes for his residents that an npc handyman would be on call for any emergencies that might come up.
