on saturday i asked william to come after work so we could watch donnie darko. then jude called saying she was coming over and i thought that was great...william wanted to make sure he knew who jude was (he met cyn the night before and they got along great! woohoo!)
anyways, a while later jude calls and tells me that the captain would be joining us too.
me= "what?"
jude= "carlos is coming. see? i told you he'd come around."
me= "oh uh, well, there's a little problem...william's coming too."
jude= "oh well, then carlos is just going to have to deal :) "
so they showed up two hours before william did and oh man, we had so much fun. the captain acted as if nothing had ever changed between us; he was still making MY drinks, singing OUR songs and picking movies "I" like. everything was fine. we sat together and joked around but we never got close...atleast...not close like we used to.
i was a bit worried about william showing up...but once he sat down, i felt good. he asked me to sit next to him (i was sitting on his arm rest fighting with carlos...how can he say Wonder Woman could kick She-ra's ass, there's no way!...) and once i did, he held my hand and joined in the conversation. and i tell you what, once his hand touched mine, i fell right into place.
i noticed carlos staring at us but i payed no mind to it. all night william kept tickling, whispering in my ear, pecking me, just being all loveable, not even worrying about what jude, carlos, maye (who later showed up) or my bro would say. granted, he didn't know who carlos was...
so i told him (as he held my hand); i whispered in his ear, as i pointed to jude and carlos (who sat together)
me= "they used to work with my brother at knott's"
william= "oh cool. they're like his best friend's then?"
me= "yeah. and uh, he's the one i told you i just broke up with"
william= "well that's interesting."
me= "sorry i didn't tell you before..."
william= "don't worry about it."
and later on at night when we spoke about it again, he said it didn't bother him. so long as carlos and i were still cool and the friendship wasn't ruined. so long as carlos was cool with me being with him (since we hang out all the time and william will be joining me on most occasions) so long as i'm ok, he's ok. now, isn't that great!?! yeah, i thought so too :)
jude says she likes the fact that he talks to me like whatever; meaning, "he doesn't worry about what others have to say or anything. he focuses on you and that's it. i think that's great." in regards to him kissing me in front of others; "i love that he's so sweet to you. he totally spoils you dude. i love him. does he have any friends for me?" :D :D :D :D :D (oh yeah, he gets the 5 smiles!)
when jude and carlos left though, jude says that carlos did comment on it,
captain= "I THOUGHT THEY BROKE UP!"
jude= "that's not dan..."
captain= "oh..."
and that's all he said...and he has not said anything to me. we're hanging out tomorrow...just he and i...we're going to lunch. whether we'll talk about william, i don't know. i know i'm not bringing him up. *shrugs* we'll see.
well, william is off of work in a tiny bit and he'll be coming over for a while so i need to let you people go. (oh yeah, he comes over every night after work, if only for ten minutes to say goodbye/goodnight and ofcourse to give me my goodnight kiss...can't go to sleep without one of those you know? ;p )
