Had a great weekend, my mom and I hosted a family bbq for my cousin's b-day on friday evening and it ended up turning into one of the best family get-togethers in a while. I was able to completely open up to every family member about whats been going on in my life. They were completely supportive. Although I didn't go into details about dates/bf's/etc, my aunt in particular gave me some great advice on everything.
After all that, I left at 9 and headed off to my friend Brandon's party in Newport which was pretty chill, no more than 40 people there so it was cool getting to know numerous people. Following Sat. afternoon I headed up to Huntington beach and spent most of the day getting sun and playing volleyball with the cousins. Sat night I went to Scott's party in Cypress. It was really fun. As long as I have my group of friends with me, everything is peachy ;)
Although I still have spots in my life that aren't fully established, right now I'm at a really content time in my life. This summer was rough and had its share of ups and downs, but I definetely feel that I've learned A LOT about different people, what their intentions are, how they can motivate, influence, and fuck you over all at the same time. Interesting combo right? But there's definetely more beyond that. I've also met some amazing friends that I want in my life for a really long time. I have a supportive family, and a handful of friends that I can trust with my life. What more could I really need right now?
Perhaps getting my driver's license back? Haha, yeah maybe. 4 months to go...
