bacc; the remingtons week one
hello and welcome ~officially~ to my bacc, Fort Havenburg. as described in this entry, i will be using nepheris's build a city challenge rules minus the tax dollar portion. the inhabitants of Fort Havenburg all came for a reason... and that reason was escape.
so let's meet the founder shall we?
Lilly Remington, daughter of two very religious priests. (no picture right now because it totally blew my mind, but you'll see her soon.) Lilly had always been one to rebel, but when it came to her sexual preferences, her parents greatly dissaproved and sent her off to a psych ward. they claimed she was suffering from a severe mental breakdown, and when Lilly refused to "stop being a lesbian" for the sake of her parents, they kept her in the residential ward. Lilly stayed for a year and a half, until her 18th birthday, and walked out with the release forms in hand. while she was walking through the town, persistent on never returning to her parents, a flier caught her attention. it read, "in need of explorers. four families will be chosen to cultivate a barren area of land. no electricity, no running water, no jobs available yet. please contact if interested."
Lillie was chosen to run the new found land, and eventually become the mayor. now was her chance to escape the sexual prosecution she was held under for years...
the house she builds is quaint and homely. but nonetheless, she feels more at home than she ever has before.
Lillie gathers the settlers together to meet and mingle (who i will further introduce when their week rolls around). she becomes particularly interested in an attractive female, Hope Hansen.
the rain starts, but the settlers remain introducing themselves to one another.
Lillie gets along well with all of the settlers... all except Talia James.
before long, Lille and Hope really start to hit it off.

Lillie searches for a job in the political career, but finds none.
Lillie greets a stray dog and the urge to adopt arises.
Hope and Lillie are more serious now, as they realize they may possess more than just a fling.
Lille finally lands a job in the political career.
and quickly advances to the next position.

Hope moves in and expresses the need for renovations.
(ignore the TV! i deleted it as soon as i caught my mistake.)
Lillie becomes that much closer to introducing running water and electricity to the town. she decides she needs an extremely smart person to help with the infrastructure of the town.
she talks to Sebastian Hansen, Hope's adopted brother, about helping her with the town's infrastructure.
Sebastian is more than happy to help... anything for his sister.

that completes week one in Fort Havenburg, starting out with the Remingtons. this was one of the boring-er houses i played, so i pinky promise, the next few updates will be more exciting.
