Of Vampire Diaries
Yeah, I know. I need to talk about the whole situation at work. I just.....I still don't have the strength to do it yet. Plus I'm still waiting for my answer (4 weeks of wait now) and I was told that next week would be the time I'd get it, so my nerves are pretty much ready to snap right now. Once it's all blown over, I'll explain everything, I promise.
Still this week had some good. I was able to have two girls night out and I got a wonderful fic from the so so talented miyabi13 *_* It was.....GRRRR HAWT BB. Thank you. Again. So so much <3333
Sooooo I watched the first episode of Vampire Diaries. All I have to say is WTF?!?!?!?! Seriously?!?!?! They changed EVERYTHING. Except for the names, it's nothing like the books! I'm like....so outraged! Fuck man. The casting is bad (except for Damon's actor who's hot as hell. But even so, the book says he has BLACK EYES not blue >_<) the name of the town was changed from Fell's Church to Mystic Falls or something. Aunt Judith is now named Angela and there's no Meredith (and Bonnie is urgh NOTHING like Bonnie T_T), Elena seems more nice buuuuuut....she has a BROTHER!!!! And Matt and Vicky are related! And even fucking worse, Caroline the Bitch is apprently a good person AND gets to shag Damon. And apparently, the vampire's bite isn't pleasurable at all. And there's a third Salvatore (Zach) and they don't come from Renaissance Italy but Mystic Falls and ARGH I'M SO SO SO DISAPPOINTED IN THE SERIES >( Though I knew I would be after seeing the casting. But still, I could have dealt with it if the storyline had not been that changed so much. The only good thing is that Damon's character is true to his book nature: a manipulative bastard that you really can't resist XD
As for the books, I'm almost at the end of the third one. The two first books were harder to read than this one. I really enjoy this plotline. And was really surprised at some of the character's involvement and all. I'm not going to say more, because Thomas, you need to read it (I can lend you the books once I'm done with them <333 At leas the whole TV fiasco is stirring up my Bonnie-muse so there's a good chance I'll pick her up at the end of the fourth book.
Aaaaand that's pretty much it for today XD Stay tuned for more soon XD
