...straight up I've been thinking A LOT and talking with Frank and we both agree that our current metal project is NOT on the level of the "breaking new grounds" mindset. We need that. And we know you need that, too. We know you're on that level and we need you. We need to go out there and show what we've got to THE WORLD and continue to write music in a way that both identifies with people and INNOVATES in a way people may not have heard before, or if they have, we can do it so well that it can BECOME our own. We need this very badly. We need you as a creative partner. We all come from different mindsets but we all UNDERSTAND what is effective and what is not. We agree to disagree and make amazing music in the process, as people, after seeing us, have told us time and time again. But more importantly, we KNEW this from the start.
Bottom line is, to get back into band mode with you would make my heart extremely happy...and Frank agrees...we need your voice, your creativity, and your heart. Fuck, man. This needs to happen and it needs to happen RIGHT this time, so that everybody knows what we have to offer them...and ourselves...let's do this.
