Nooooooooooo! It is raining on a demo day. It needs to stop.
Last night I emptied another 7-8 boxes, including many of my grandmother's tea sets. I know I can't keep all of them, but it is just so hard to let go of things that were special to her. I know I can't just get rid of them. I am thinking of boxing up some of them and taking them home with me for Mom's wedding to see if my great aunts would like them.
I also sorted through a very large number of craft supplies. I have a lot of half-finished and unopened craft kits that I really need to do something with. Barring a particular occasion (such as a wedding or birth), nobody let me buy any more cross-stitch kits until I've competed some of these. Some of them are devastatingly simple, like Christmas ornaments, and could be finished in a weekend. I also have a few latchhook kits - I wonder if latchhooks are still an endangered species like they were when I worked at JoAnn's (no joke - as soon as we got a shipment of latchhooks in, people would descend and buy every single one).
