Giraffes like watersports
I might be filling Ariel's job at Pacific Gate Works once she switches to her way-better job next week. I'm going out to the shop after school tomorrow to meet the boss. I really hope it works out, because then I'd be covered money-wise while I look for a job related to my degree after graduating, and wouldn't have to just accept the first thing offered to me even if it's boring and dumb. Plus it'd be awesome to learn & practice welding... I really enjoy welding bike stuff (although my work on that front is so shitty and amateur that I think it can only be accurately described as "bonk-ass"). But best of all, I'd get to add "EAT SHIT, I WAS A WELDER" to my resume, which is a nice serious job to balance out the "eternal fucking teenager" vibe of my work history up til this point.
