Life is good. My elbow is healing. I live in a house with Melanie, whom I love rather a lot. I have a job I reasonably like working with people I get along with where my contributions are valued. My feet are throbbing. We got a dog. We thought "What do we want to yell outside when we call the dog?" We called him Khan as such. I liked the new Star Trek, even if it was missing some of the Star Trek special sauce. I have most of the toys I want. On that note, I'm in a promising plastic band (The Legend of Gallifrey) and I'm working on real music. I like my family. My dad came down yesterday to watch the original 3 terminator movies before going to the fourth. My high school/college roommate joined us. Another friend from high school/college was in town tonight, so we did some karaoke. I got a little crunk, which is what I call drunk when there's music involved. I was probably technically drunk last night, but it's not the same when I'm not singing. My elbow is getting better. I should eat better and exercise more, but I'm not dying or anything. Earlier I said I was going to take the dog outside and water the garden, and Adam thought it was a euphemism, but then he saw me outside with the hose. Vegetables are good. If you want potatoes, you're going to have to grow them yourself, as we learned from a crazy guy at a gas station in Tennessee. I'm bad at spelling Tennessee. We go camping sometime, and it's nice. We went to the english countryside and London and Paris for a week (direct flights [boy howdy I had some trouble typing flights]) and it was a lot of fun. Woo vacation. I should get more of that. Most of the good GenCon events are full, but some are still open, so we should sign up. I have good friends and good family and a great lady and a good house and a good job and a good job. I think maybe the realtor from the first episode of the second season of arrested development is Andy from the office? I'll look that up later. I'm going to some concerts this summer. Life is good. I hope it's treating all of you well. (LJ says the only spelling errors are Gallifrey, crunk, and GenCon. I win.)
