(no subject)
Yesterday was long.
All-district auditions were yesterday. I completely bastardized the scales, but the solo and sight reading were great. Results are supposed to be posted by this afternoon. I had a dream that I got 47th alternate.
Anyways, trying out wasn't the fun part. The fun part was after I promised two people rides home and my car wouldn't start. We asked around the parking lot if anyone had jumper cables and we finally found someone who did. He jumped it, and it worked, but then halfway out of the parking lot my car completely shut off. Obviously, I didn't really want that to happen during any of the 1 1/2 hours of mostly highway driving on the way home. I was also almost out of gas, so I wouldn't have been able to drive straight home anyways. Luckily, the guy with the jumper cables was super-nice and looked up the nearest gas station and followed us there in case my car shut off on the way. My car didn't have any trouble starting after that, and it didn't shut off in the middle of the highway (thank god). It has a new battery now, so hopefully nothing like that will happen again.
Today, I get to do community service and a lab report. Wooo!
Edit: I got first alternate. Much better than 47th.
