sometimes you get moved to tears, this was one of those times

So if you didn't watch Conan tonight, I'm telling you, you missed out on something precious. TV history was made.

Conan is... he's such a wonderful human being. He talked about how, despite having spent only seven months on the show, they were the best seven months he'd had on television. How hosting the Tonight Show was every comedian's dream, and how every day in the studio was a dream-come-true to him. That he had the most wonderful staff, and the most wonderful friends. To think that he would be grateful for all the years he spent at NBC... That he actually thanked them, despite the fact that he's being fired and replaced. It's amazing. He went on to say, to tell future generations; to the give the young people watching his show a message. "Never be cynical. Cynicism is the worst trait a person can have. Nothing ever gets done. Just keep believing that you can achieve your dreams, and even when you aren't able to, you'll make friends that will help you through it." This guy is truly amazing. A man of his integrity is so hard to find, and especially on TV. He got teary-eyed, I got teary-eyed... and then they signed off with Free Bird.

Oh, Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien. I hardly knew ye. Here's to you, CoCo. Here's the full episode on hulu, in case anyone wants to see &hearts

I was going to make a spam post about how today's Yukimi's birthday and I made a new icon, but after writing this, I feel like it'd be just wrong to do that. I'll let this sit here for a while. Maybe I'll make that post later today.
