king of nabari; and moodthemes

So I've been reading Nabari no Ou. It's gooood~ The art is cute and the characters are all adorable and likeable. Yes, it's a series about ninjas, but it doesn't go the "ninjas are normal" route and instead paints the ninja world (the world of Nabari) as a sort of underground/mafia-esque/normal people don't know it exists kinda way. In any case, I fell in love (with Yukimi) about 40 chapters in, so don't be deterred if you find the main character a little boring or think Yoite should just host a pity party already.* Later on the characters gain a lot of depth; even the main character (he was struggling with ending his dependence streak for a while).

Anyway, what frustrates me most about this series is that no one seems to share my opinion! Yoite became annoying after a while. Miharu was a total shell and Yukimi is the coolest character since ever! I can't find any fanwork of him! It's all MiharuxYoite or YoitexMiharu. There's not even that much RaikouxGau! (Which is probably almost as canon as Kouichi+Raimei**) As for Thobari, well... I don't know what to say about him, I liked him a lot at the beginning but he didn't show up for around 30 chapters so I can't really say. There's only room for one father-figure-to-the-main-character in my heart, and that belongs to Yukimi, I'm afraid.

Only partly related is the fact that I noticed how many moodthemes I have; 12. Wow. I'm not sure which I should use because contemplating this John Stewart one (good for all occasions, naturally) over a rather plain Nabari no Ou one. I had originally included an Amatsuki one that I liked, but the pics were too small. :/

*I know I did. In retrospect, Yoite is an important character, I just don't think that he deserved such an incredible focus like he was given. I mean, 50 chapters? Really?
