I may be obsessed, but this ain't half bad.

I wrote a poem-style thing for English, wow. It's supposed to be Chaucer style (haha, ignored that) so the verses rhyme, but that's about it. I tried to get the meter right, but I've always sucked at that. Best I could do was get a reasonably steady 8-10 syllable count.

However... the real magic lies in the topic of said Any-Character-Sketch Poem.

I wrote it about Dr. Horrible.

Dr. Horrible

Walking with an awkward lank in his step,
He glances around, his disguise in check.
With goggles gleaming yon his forehead,
His pale skin contrasts his coat of red.
And though he laughs with wicked tone,
Deep inside he carries a burden, alone.
His murder of his beloved weighs
too much, and his eyes start to glaze.
He shatters, whimpers, with her in mind;
Where'd his hope go? His hands, once kind,
were now cold-blooded. He knew she'd hate
the man he was now, but t'was too late.
His villain's heart grows cold and colder,
“If only I had never known her.”

Well, that was different.

EDIT: ahaha, Neil Patrick Harris said 'Interweb.'

fics, fangirling, life, dr. horrible, that was different.
